If you want to lose a few extra pounds, here is a simple 5 step process that has worked for us. 

1.  Download & Use- My Fitness Pal (free smart phone app) app link
This app is very user friendly and it has tons of good features to help you calorie count. The scan feature makes it super easy to add in foods as you prepare your meals.

2.  Pack your work lunches
Skip the drive-thru and grab the cooler to ride shotgun with you.

3.  Plan a cheat day every week
I prefer my cheat day on one of my days off. This way I can go out to eat with the family and eat whatever I want.

4.  More H2O less sodas, energy drinks & sugary coffees
21 oz coke-cola  = about 174 calories, 47 grams of sugar
16 oz Rockstart energy drink = 280 calories, 62 grams of sugar
13.7 oz Starbucks vanilla frappuccino = 290 calories, 45 grams of sugar
Unlimited oz Water = 0 calories, 0 grams of sugar.
When your calorie counting you don't want to be wasting your calories on beverages.

5.  Exercise, Exercise, Exercise....
Get your ass in the gym, go for a run, walk the dog.... do something
